Privacy Policy — Weather Publisher

Weather Publisher is a personal software tool owned and operated by Jeff Lutz, publisher of ministry-weather.com (“Ministry Weather”). It is used solely by its owner to publish his own weather videos to his own social media accounts. This policy describes what information the tool handles.

1. Information the tool stores. Weather Publisher stores the owner’s own login authorization tokens (OAuth access and refresh tokens) for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X in a private configuration file on the owner’s own computer. These tokens are used only to upload the owner’s videos and captions to the owner’s own accounts through each platform’s official API.

2. Information the tool processes. The tool processes video files, titles, and descriptions that the owner supplies for publication. It does not collect information about any other person, does not track visitors, and contains no advertising or analytics.

3. Sharing. No information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties. Data passes only between the owner’s computer and the official API of the platform the owner is publishing to, as needed to complete the upload.

4. Platform data. When the tool connects to a platform, that platform’s handling of data is governed by the platform’s own privacy policy.

5. Revoking access and deletion. The owner can revoke the tool’s access at any time in each platform’s account settings, and can delete the stored tokens by removing the configuration file. Anyone who believes their information has been handled by this tool in error may contact the owner and it will be deleted.

6. Changes. This policy may be updated at any time; the current version will always be posted at this URL.
