I saw this recently. Hmmm…someone pushing an agenda and sending out a retraction that most nobody hears about?
Usually, when I read something about climate change from Discovery Channel, it usually goes out and talks about man-made global warming. Sorry, but with my background in atmospheric science, there are too many things that the climate models lack to attribute things all to man’s disregard to taking care of the planet. However, this article surprised me. A good read for most laypeople.
Youth Specialties has a web site that is meant to help parents of teenagers called Real World Parents. As a step parent of a couple of teens and a couple of young adults, I try to read up on these things. I also look into this, so that I can pass along information to other parents, since I am also a leader in our churches youth ministry. I think this article can be used by not only parents, youth leaders alike.
I called Huntington, and sure enough as the bottom of the letters said, if you are working with us, then ignore this letter. Well, that’s what they told me. So we are still working with them and trying to get the house sold.
Yesterday, Mary and I received three letters from Huntington bank saying that our house we have been trying to sell was being foreclosed on. Once we looked closely, it said that we could ignore it if we were working with the bank and on a plan. Well, we have been. However, I need to call later today and see what’s up. So, I’m not sure where we stand other than we have our budget and are working through the bills. Pray for us.

More and more Mary and I run into the hopeless teen, that don’t look hopeless on the outside, but are hurting on the inside. Anecdottaly, we have been seeing this as a trend, but now we have numbers.
